COU Runway 13-31 / 2-20 Project

Due to pilot safety concerns and passenger experience concerns first brought to our attention on Saturday, April 6, Columbia Regional Airport took the drastic step of closing the airport on Tuesday, April 9 to modify the intersection of the main runway (2-20) and the crosswind runway (13-31). This timeline will be updated each day. Columbia Regional Airport is scheduled to reopen to all air traffic on Monday, April 15, weather permitting. Please continue to check with your air carrier for the most up to date in formation on flight status and reservations.

We apologize to those who were affected by this issue and want to assure you our first priority is your safety. We are working diligently to reopen the airport as quickly as possible. Thank you.
