Environmental Assesment Study Conducted in 2013

Notice of Availability 

The Columbia Regional Airport hosted an Environmental Study Workshop on Tuesday, February 5 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in the north terminal, located at 11260 South Airport Drive. The purpose of this workshop was to display the Environmental Study findings and facilitate discussion on the report.

The study was conducted as required in regards to the following proposed airport projects:

  • Rehabilitate or reconstruct airfield pavement
  • Realign South Rangeline Road
  • Acquire 52 acres of land
  • Realign Route H
  • Improve Runway 13 and parallel Taxiway B
  • Construct Taxiway A5 and infield drainage improvements
  • Widen Taxiway A4
  • Rehabilitate South Apron Area
  • Expand Apron between Taxiways A2 and A3
  • Expand Automobile parking lot
